The ILLC Mission

"We prepare youth with special needs for life." The Independent Living Learning Centre, established in July 2003, caters to the needs of children, adolescents and young adults with developmental conditions. The aim has been to promote the students’ optimum quality of life and, by maximizing their learning potential, ILLC hopes to prepare them for independent living and self-sufficiency in the domains of self care, work and recreation through contemporary and functional approaches in special education and the paramedical fields of occupational, physical ad speech therapy. ILLC’s interdisciplinary program is dedicated to promote effective transitioning of an individual from the school or clinic to actual life contexts. Practical learning activities for independent living are provided in home and community settings to help generalize learning. I SUGGEST TO ILLC TO HAVE THE LOCATION MAP OF THEIR SCHOOL, AND THE PICTURES OF BUILDINGS AND CLASSROOMS TO BE MORE APPEALLING TO THE VISITORS ON THIS WEB.

the indefatigable dedication of your team to the noble task is indeed awesome.
I have a classmate and some Filipino acquaintances here who work
with IHC ( am not sure.. it stands for intellectually handicapped children). It seems you have the same vision and mission. They are
trying their best to get funding from the government.

Am amazed how your John have grown so big and really gifted with music intelligence. You deserve an award for being a super mom to three gifted children. Keep it up! Regards

Jane thank you very much for sharing these pictures. I really missed the previous appointment I had with your school. Very busy talaga ako now that I am handling higher education institution. Some appointments are not really scheduled, and they just appeared instantaneously.
